I believe in some of the bigger company, you might be hiring some clerk or part-timer or so to help in your company data entry. Considering such matters, some of the information could be sensitive and you wish not to disclosed to them.

In our Entries which involved payments, our system default will always show you the bank balance whenever you had selected it. If you did not notice, it is just below your payment method area.

Now here comes the question, what if I wish to hide them? Is it possible? The answer is YES, you can hide this thing from certain users based on your preference. In order to do so, you can access the access right control in AutoCount Accounting.

You can go to top Menu –> General Maintenance –> User Maintenance –> Access Right (click it at your left hand side).

You will see your middle content changed and you can expand the AutoCount Accounting record shown to look for available access rights. Expand AutoCount Accounting and look for Systems –> Behaviors –> Show Bank/Cash Account Balance. By default this access right is given to ADMINS group only, however you can do changes on this by ticking or un-ticking the specific username / user group at your right hand side and apply.

For now we will remove the ADMINS group from this access right. After that you can go back to access your Entries and select any payment method available, you will not see any words showing your bank balance anymore.
