AutoCount Accounting has a feature which is very useful for those out there that do backlog accounts. For those that always do backlog accounts, there are times that the user will forget to change the document date and often save it to the wrong date. So AutoCount Accounting has a solution for this, by enabling this feature – ‘Set Document Date to Maximum Value’, AutoCount system will change the document date of all GL, AR or AP entries to an invalid date (31/12/9999), which will force you, the user to key in the date and not to save the wrong date.
To access this function. You can look for AutoCount Accounting Top Menu –> Tools –> Options –> General –> Application –> Tick ‘Set New Document Date to Maximum Value in all GL, AR, AP Edit’. After you had tick this, you will find all your GL, AR and AP entries document date changed and you will not able to save without keying in your proper date.
